(I’m so sorry to all for the mistake! Angela’s team last year was Cat In A Hoodie, not Raccoon In A Hoodie!)

The four artists of a satirical Hollywood round table podcast placed their bets in early February 2025 on who the winners of the various Oscar categories would be.

Though team Dog In A T-Shirt (DITS) seemed to have low odds at the start, based on some of the choiceless bets on their roster, with steadily growing numbers of members joining the team and continuing to stay in the lead as the most-voted-for draft, DITS members enjoyed the comraderie and growing hope for the team.

Just 5 days ago, the team’s luck trended further upward with backing from the Hollywood Reporter in their predictions. DITS members gleefully rejoiced at the encouraging report and banded together more closely, confidently placing trust in their film-seasoned team captain, Angela Giarratana. DITS’ reputation continued to grow and the majority of voting Patrons sided with DITS.

When award day came, Giarratana advertised her team to the other team leaders attempting to convince them to abandon their teams and join her growing ranks. None of them accepted her offer and one leader even refused to pick up her phone call.

To the members of her team (about the opposing team leaders), she said, “These losers are so fucked.”

Angela Giarratana of Team DITS just hours before the award ceremony, joyously expressing confidence in her Oscar Draft to her followers. “These losers are so fucked.” she says.

When the ceremony finally began, an initial neck-and-neck between each of the leaders’ wins created tension in the first half of the show.

DITS quickly took the lead, however, by a two-point margin, and stayed there. Team Jeremy nearly tied with DITS twice, but ultimately was left in the dust each time. DITS finally claimed the cemented win when their voted Sean Baker took the podium… and the Oscar.

DITS members overwhelmingly cheered, championing their leader as a two-time winner, since she had led team Cat In A Hoodie (CIAH) to the Oscar Draft win last year as well, for the 96th Oscar Ceremony.

The teams are meeting for their own Oscar Draft winners ceremony on the afternoon of Monday, March 3rd via livestream, to present a formal win/loss declaration for their Patrons.

Head over to AOAOAOA Podcast’s Patreon and join their “Patron on Patron on Patron” tier to witness the live ceremony at 12pm PST.

We’ll catch you next time, with the 2026 Oscars, and meet Mouse In A Leather Jacket, Angela’s sequel team. “We’ll get Cynthia Erivo next year.” Giarratana remarks.

For now, bask in the win, Team DITS, enjoy an afterparty, and we’ll catch you tomorrow with the artists to tune in for Team DITS’ declaration of championship and Team Patrick’s loser’s dare.

Take care,
Roma, TomSmosh
