A debacle of royal proportions hit the Smosh fandom early this morning on May 20th when the latest Smosh Pit TNTL episode dropped on the famous comedy channel. After fans flocked to the episode’s debut, the ending left them reeling with lies, dishonesty, …and scandal.
Chanse McCrary was crowned “King of the Stool” after a turn of events that left contestant, Angela Giarratana, prior “Queen of the Stool” desperate for justice.
McCrary was given the crown on the basis of Giarratana having laughed at his repeated bit, which had reappeared on audience’s screens four times across the viewing. Giarratana protested the election, saying, “No! I choked on my breath!” after her fellow peers attacked her saying she had definitely spit for the bit.
Hardcore fans of Giarratana’s are now teeming social media sites rioting for change; fighting for their queen to be crowned again.
The fandom will not rest until the truth is revealed and justice wins.
To add to the complexity of this case, Giarratana has a long history of being known as hard to break. She won a hardcore round of TNTL in 2022 by a landslide and has since been known to have a will of steel against breaking into a laugh.
However, on January 15th and October 9th of 2023, Giarratana did break during Smosh Mouth’s podcast TNTL episode. But, this was a rare occurence.
Her best friend, Amanda Lehan-Canto, who notoriously makes her giggle the most, said in several TNTL episodes that Angela is very hard to break because she goes to a dark place.
Smosh, we implore you, we will not be able to rest until you find the truth and bring it to light.
